Private Label Rights are possibly the most valuable and most coveted of any rights you can have. With PLR rights, you can do anything with the product you bought, even claim to be the author of the ebook or software application.

You can easily find PLR products to suit your needs with a focused search. Products with these rights attached can be ebooks, article packs, software, videos, audios, graphics or photos. There are membership sites and email marketing systems dedicated to PLR products exclusively.

The real value and attraction for PLR products is how you can use them to create product after product of your own. Ebooks with PLR rights can be broken apart and recreated as several short reports. Each one of those segments used for short reports can become separate ebooks with additional information added and the entire some reformatting to look improve the look and flow. Another use would be expanding the separate points into sets of PLR articles you can sell.

While PLR products have the most liberal rights of them all, some will include non-transferrable PLR rights in their lists, like this example below:

The owner of the product you are buying or downloading as a free product has the right to allow the distribution rights he wants to allow and restrict those he wants to restrict. Read and remember them. If you don’t understand something, email the owner and ask.

You, of course, have the same right to put the restrictions you want to add on your own products or those that come with unrestricted, full PLR rights.

Those restrictions are the original owner’s attempt to maintain the value of his product and not have it devalued and given away for nothing.

Private Label Rights often come with totally unrestricted rights that allow you to do anything you want to do with them and they are usually advertised as such, whether they actually do or not. Splashy launches and promotions blasting the value and freedom of Private Label Rights do not explicitly give or restrict the rights you have for any purchase or download you make. They are just what they look like…advertisements.
